The Nurture Map Universe

When Chris started out on this journey to create he Nurture Map, alongside it, he also went on a journey of self study. Finding everything he could about how the brain really worked, the mind body connection, neuroscience, psychology, embodied spirituality, anything he could get his hands on. He became a real sponge for knowledge and a geek for everything about how we worked on a holistic level. This initially began in the library, reading research, studies and books, but it also took him further afield too. In the early years of the millennium, and the internet, the resources were sparse, but he found everything he could to help both support and evolve the Nurture Map.

Over the years this thirst for knowledge hasn’t changed, keeping up with the latest studies and research, as well as his own personal experience and importantly the experience of those he has worked with. In the early days, his intention was to share this information and to bring it more in to the mainstream. With much of it being hidden or having to know where to look for it, he wanted to make this more common knowledge and bring it to people’s attention.

Today, with the internet, social media, podcast and more, things have changed, and we are now deluged with knowledge and information at every moment. These days, the intention is about cutting through the noise, creating clarity, and getting to the real source information, sharing the knowledge and research, that the Nurture Map is built on, and how it all evolves. Furthermore, this is also about creating a springboard of inspiration, supporting and inspiring you to go on your own journey of discovery. We have added the basics here and have more to add, and include as the research evolves
